The delegation included employees of the SFedU International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies, Associate Professor Sabina Kerimova and lecturer Valeria Makeeva.

On the first day of the visit, on June 2, the Second Ionin Readings were held, where Sabina Kerimova presented a report on the scientific expedition of the outstanding Soviet geneticist Nikolai Ivanovich Vavilov to Argentina (1932-1933), during which he collected a unique collection of seeds and plant samples. It was Vavilov who laid the foundations for scientific cooperation between Russia and Argentina.

On June 3, the SFedU delegation held two presentations at the Rossotrudnichestvo Office. The first was dedicated to the Southern Federal University: the guests were told about educational programs, study paths and admission opportunities for foreign citizens. The second presentation revealed the investment and tourism potential of the Rostov region. The performance began with a welcoming speech by Alexey Gospodarev, Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region. A special moment was the presentation of a letter of thanks to the director of the Lola Mora Art School, Lorena Dibiasse. A joint exhibition of drawings by students of the Argentine school and the Taganrog Children's Art School named after S.I. Blonskaya, dedicated to Anton Chekhov and Alexander Pushkin, was launched at the Russian House.

On June 4, a working meeting was held at the National University of La Plata with the participation of the SFedU delegation, Dina Oyun, Chairman of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Argentina, and Fernando Tauber, Rector of the University. The parties discussed key areas of activity and identified the points of intersection of scientific and academic interests. The Rector of the National University of La Plata emphasized the importance of strengthening mutually beneficial partnership between universities. Representatives of the SFedU held a master class for their Argentine colleagues on teaching Russian as a foreign language.

On June 5, representatives of the SFedU also held a master class on RCT at the Rossotrudnichestvo Office, sharing their many years of experience working with a Spanish-speaking audience. The audience was particularly interested in electronic audiovisual courses created specifically for Spanish-speaking students. The Argentine teachers highly appreciated the textbooks of the SFedU Department of the Russian Institute of Physics and Technology and noted that they are already actively using them in their practice.

On June 6, the Day of the Russian Language and Alexander Pushkin's birthday, the SFedU delegation co-organized the XII All-Argent Reading Contest "Native Rhymes". The event was held at the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office and brought together Russian-speaking compatriots, as well as Argentines, Uruguayans and Paraguayans studying Russian. Sabina Kerimova and Valeria Makeeva joined the jury along with Omar Lobos, a renowned translator and member of the Dostoevsky Society, who has been cooperating with the university for many years. More than 100 participants read their poems from the stage. The winners received commemorative prizes with SFedU symbols, as well as souvenirs of the Don Region provided by the government of the Rostov region.

Southern Federal University has been developing cooperation with Latin American countries for many years. Currently, the university has about 500 students from Spain, Portugal and Latin American countries. The participation of the SFedU delegation in the National Diplomacy Week confirms the university's status as a key center for international humanitarian cooperation.
