The Austrian Language DiplomaSDSD is an internationally recognized exam to confirm the level of proficiency in German as a foreign language.

The system of the international German language examination ÖSD carries out its activities based on the requirements of the Council of Europe for foreign language proficiency. This applies to exam assignments, verification criteria and evaluation of results.

The ÖSD certificate (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy-Bolzano) is required for:

admission to bachelor's and master's degree programs (depending on the university, the requirements for the level of proficiency in German are different);

submission to the consulate or Embassy of Germany during the reunification of spouses / family;

obtaining German citizenship;

successful employment not only in countries with a German language;

participation in international programs;

confirmation of the level of German language proficiency;

getting an independent assessment of your knowledge

The ÖSD certificate is an indefinite international certificate recognized along with the Goethe-Institut certificate.

The Center for German Language and Culture of the SFedU is a licensed center for the ÖSD exam. In our center, teenagers (from the age of 14) and adults can take the exam for levels from A1 to B2.

The ÖSD exam, regardless of the level, consists of two parts: oral and written.

The exam is held on the same day. All oral exams are recorded on a voice recorder and archived.

The deadline for registration for the exam is November 7, 2021.
