Research interests:
Conducting research in the field of materials science and nanotechnology: synthesis of new materials and laboratory characterization of their properties by different experimental methods; study of the optical and structural properties of composite porous materials containing transition metals; modelling of optical, structural and electronic properties of the obtained materials.
Research projects:
Scientific studies on optical properties and structural features of the localization of gold and copper in the composition of a porous silicate composite by methods of experimental and theoretical physics. By using optical spectroscopy and synchrotron diffraction formation of gold particles in a solid porous medium is traced. In addition, operando experiments are performed to determine the catalytic activity of the samples. A quantum-chemical description of the electronic properties of composite samples with copper is carried out.
