Research interests:
Environmental management and environmental management; sustainable development, ecological safety of territories and enterprises; integrated environmental assessment of the southern regions of Russia and Rostov region; evaluation of tourist potential of regions of Southern Russia and neighboring countries; the problems of specially protected natural territories; new information technologies applied in ecological and geographical studies; regional historical and geographical researches; development of extracurricular (tour) of the content to implement the regional component of school geography education.
Research projects:
- Development and production of multimedia guides in the Rostov region.
- Responsible editor of the first in the history of the Rostov region - a comprehensive Atlas.
- Participation in the development and implementation of an environmental management system in accordance with the international ISO 14000 standards in the subsidiaries of OOO Gazprom.
- Participation in the development of a new model of environmental management for sustainable development of enterprises of fuel and energy complex of Russia.
- Participation in the development of schemes of territorial planning of the Republic of Adygea and the Astrakhan region.
- Participation in research work: "Determination of possible ways of extending and deepening of the Azov-Don sea channel. Comprehensive assessment of the impact on the environment".
