The Development of the University Digital Infrastructure was Discussed in SFedU

On November 19, the Southern Federal University held a regular meeting of the administration.

 

At the meeting, Interim rector Inna Shevchenko and the head of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises Representative Office in the Rostov region Anna Pushenko presented certificates of participants to listeners of the pre-acceleration program “Management of innovative technological projects” for grantees of the UMNIK program.

The program of pre-acceleration gives the opportunity to gain competence for the innovative projects development and implementation, which is especially important for engineering and natural sciences, - Inna Shevchenko said.

Then Evgeny Mukhanov, Acting Vice-Rector for Innovation Activities and International Cooperation, made a report on the development of the University's digital infrastructure.

At the moment, the university uses both digital analytical platforms for collecting information about current trends, research areas, and platform storage (repository) of scientific data. These systems determine how the university is represented in the world. After all, impression we make affects efficiency of our interactions, - Evgeny Mukhanov emphasized.

Head of the Southern Regional Center of Competences in Online Learning Boris Krukier and Head of the Internationalization & Strategy Department for Education and Science Pavel Makhno spoke about the online learning development in the Southern Federal University.

At the end of the meeting, Inna Shevchenko congratulated the academic supervisor Vladimir Minkin on receiving the Demidov Prize for outstanding contribution to the development of physical, organic and quantum chemistry.
