Professor of The University of Montreal Delivered a Course

As a part of the Academic Mobility Week the lecturer Evgeny Borokhovskiy, Professor of the University “Concordia", visited the Southern Federal University.

Evgeniy Borokhovskiy is a professor, PhD, head of Meta-Analytical Projects of the Research Center for the Effectiveness of Educational Technologies and Cognitive Processes Study  of University “Concordia” (Montreal), and a member of the editorial board of the "Russian Psychological Journal".

In 1984, he graduated from the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy of Rostov State University, then did a doctoral program at the Faculty of Psychology of the University "Concordia". He worked for the Research Institute of Neurocybernetics. In 1998, he moved to Montreal. He currently works for the University "Concordia" of Montreal. Area of professional interests: meta-analytical research in education and applied psychology.

Evgeny Borokhovskiy was invited by the Department of Psychology of Management and Legal Psychology of the Academy of Psychology and Educational Sciences as a part of the Association of SFedU Graduates initiative to attract outstanding graduates to participate in educational and research projects of the university.

During the Academic Mobility Week Evgeny Borokhovskiy delivered the first module of the course “Methodology and Practice of Meta-Analytical Research in Social Sciences”. The course was attended by postgraduate, graduate and undergraduate students of educational programs "Psychological Sciences" and "Education and pedagogical sciences". The course will be completed during the Academic Mobility Week in April 2019.
