On 17-19 May, the X European Exhibition EUROINVENT 2018 took place in Romania. It was organized by the Forum of Romanian Inventors in cooperation with leading universities in Europe with the support of the International Federation of Inventors' Associations.
More than 570 inventions from the Russian Federation, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Canada, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, USA, Taiwan, Turkey, Japan and others were presented at the EUROINVENT 2018. Scientists from 34 countries of the world.
Southern Federal University and Don State Technical University were represented at the exhibition by the innovative development "Optical measuring complex". Its authors are the chief SFedU researcher Ivan Parinov and the head of DSTU department Igor Miroshnichenko.The international jury of the exhibition awarded the invention the gold medal.
The development of the "Optical measuring complex" solves all the arising measuring problems while studying the physical and mechanical properties of new materials. The use of this complex increases the informativeness and reliability of the measurement results to 20-30%, and also provides an improvement in the quality of measurement results to 20-40%.
The exhibition is aimed at dissemination and promotion of research results, establishment of partnerships, creation of new directions for research, exchange of technologies, introduction of inventions and scientific recognition.
