The final matches of the National Students Football League Championship passed in Rostov-on-Don. 16 student teams from Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Simferopol, Saratov, Tambov, Smolensk, Dolgoprudny, Orel, Kazan, Grozny, Moscow and St. Petersburg competed for the victory from September to May in the tournament of 2015/2016.
The championship, as well as last season, was won by the players of Kuban State University. Students of Saratov State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky repeated their success and got silver medals. Team of Southern Federal University became the bronze medalist.
