On January 18, a delegation from Seychelles visited SFedU on a working visit.

At the Boiling Point of the Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don, representatives of the Seychelles, the Seychelles Cultural Foundation FKs for foreign students of the Southern Federal University gave a lecture "Synonyms of the Seychelles" as part of the event "Theatrical Facets".

The invited guests were Professor, Honored Creative Worker of the Republic of Seychelles, professional director and artistic director of the Seychelles Cultural Foundation - FKS Mr. John Pool Etienne and PR manager of the Seychelles Film Academy project - Mrs. Marie Antoinette Helene.

Director John Poole Etienne shared his experience and gave acting and directing master classes for foreign students of SFedU.  For example, one of the group exercises was to create a concentrated rhythmic melody consisting of claps. According to the organizer of the event, Lola Isaeva, John Pool Etienne has opened his own film academy in Seychelles, in which he wants to attract as many students from Russia as possible to study and develop acting and directing skills.

The event was also attended by Alexander Ermizin, Head of the Department for Work with Foreign Students of the Southern Federal University, who spoke about the cooperation of the Southern Federal University with the Seychelles.

"The city of Victoria from the Seychelles is a twin city of Rostov–on-Don, with which various projects are being implemented. The creative event "Theatrical Facets" is included in this collaboration. The Southern Federal University is also actively involved in volunteer activities in the Seychelles. So, a group of SFedU students, together with veterinarians, travel to this country to engage in charitable activities," said Alexander Ermizin.

At the end of the event, John Pool Etienne and Marie Antoinette Helene were thanked by the participants of the "Theatrical Facets" for the master classes held, noting the uniqueness and novelty of the information received.
