On November 8-13, the 5th International Student Theater Festival "STUDIYA" will be held in Rostov-on-Don, and will gather 100 participants from 6 regions of Russia and neighboring countries. The Southern Federal University organizes the festival annually.
The festival will be the first event of the large interregional project Autumn Art School "Artkomanda" which is supported by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
This year, the organizing committee has prepared an eventful program for the participants. Theater performances will be held on the big stage of the Regional House of Folk Art, and in the creative spaces of Rostov-on-Don. Students will be able to attend creative meetings, lectures, master classes, and participate in the meetings of the festival club.
Traditionally, one of the festival nominations marks the work of great writers, poets, playwrights. And this year is no exception. Vladimir Vysotsky is one of the most talented people of our age. That is the reason why one of the nominations is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Vysotsky’s birthday and is named after the lines from one of his poems. The opening ceremony will take place on November 9 at 7.30 PM in the Regional House of Folk Art.
