From October 11 to October 15, SFedU took part in an exhibition in Republic of Lebanon. The exhibition of leading Russian universities in Lebanon "Education in Russia - a start of a successful future" was held under the auspices of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Higher Education of Lebanon. The organizers of the educational exhibition were "Rossotrudnichestvo" in the Republic of Lebanon and the Agency for Cooperation in Education "Russia.Study"
More than 30 leading Russian and Lebanese universities participated in the round table. During the meeting, the best experience of joint educational programs being implemented by the Lebanese University with partners from Russia were presented, specific proposals were made for further cooperation: academic student exchanges between universities of the two countries, teacher exchanges, joint research.
Schoolchildren and students from Lebanon learnt a lot about the advantages of education in Russia. The head of "Rossotrudnichestvo" V. Zaichikov explains that such interest in the exhibition is caused by the competitiveness of Russian universities and the optimal ratio of price and quality of our higher education.
The educational programs of the Southern Federal University were presented by Elena Skuratova, Senior Lecturer at the International Center for Education and Ibero-American Studies at SFedU .
The events aroused great interest and were widely covered by the Lebanese television and the Russian international TV channel RT in Arabic.
