Based on the results of the two competitions, the Foundation supported 503 initiative projects of young scientists in the amount of 1.5-2 million rubles annually and 313 youth scientific groups with funding of 3-5 million rubles. Compared with last year, the number of projects supported by the Fund has increased.

From Southern Federal University 34 applications were submitted to the initiative research competition, 8 projects were supported.

From SFedU 16 projects have been submitted to the competition of youth scientific groups. The winner of the contest was a project from the specialist of SFedU Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science.
