SFedU has Reached a New Level of Integration in the European Masters’ Program

Prof. Alexander Soldatov, director of the SEC Nanoscale Structure of Matter at the Department of Physics, participated in the students’ summer school of the MaMaSELF consortium and presented the opportunities for masters’ theses preparation at SfedU. The meeting was organized in the framework of an international network of MaMaSELF masters’ programs.
The status of associate member of the consortium allows SFedU to host foreign masters preparing their  theses, to send own masters abroad, and to exchange visit-professors between universities.
Southern Federal University is the only university in Russia, included in this international master program’s network. As an associate member of the consortium it has taken the place alongside the world’s leading universities such as the University of ETH Zurich (Switzerland) — 13th place in the ranking of QS-2012, Kyoto (Japan) — 35th place in the ranking of QS 2012, University of Wisconsin (USA) — 38 place in the ranking of QS-2012.
